Unforgettable 70th Birthday Celebration in Mallorca: Sun, Sea, and Stars
Celebrating in Style: Three Days of Birthday Magic.
I had the incredible opportunity to join David and his loved ones as photographer for a magical three-day celebration in Palma de Mallorca, marking his milestone 70th birthday. Despite the August crowds, the meticulously planned event ensured an exclusive and intimate experience for all the guests.
Our base was the stunning Son Bunyola Hotel & Villas, a 5-star haven nestled amidst lush vineyards and the breathtaking Tramuntana mountain range, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Mallorca's most picturesque locations. This exceptional hotel, part of Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Hotels collection, provided the perfect backdrop for this special occasion.
The three days were a whirlwind of festivities, from a traditional paella night to a catamaran excursion, a lively pool party, and an elegant white party culminating in the grand birthday cake celebration. David, a former professional soccer player with a distinguished career in the English and German leagues and multiple Champions League appearances, was truly honored by the outpouring of love and celebration.
David's wonderful family, including his wife and sons, along with their close friends, went above and beyond to create unforgettable memories for everyone. As the event's photographer, and with Alex capturing video footage, we were not only committed to documenting these precious moments but also had the pleasure of enjoying the fantastic company and the beautiful island. We even managed to squeeze in some family beach time before a rare Mediterranean hurricane arrived, adding an unexpected twist to our adventure! Chef Brenda G. Lisiotti's creations at Sa Terrassa, Son Bunyola's main restaurant, delighted every guest with an enchanting seafood dinner.
