An Unforgettable Dinner in the Heart of Art in Milan
An extraordinary dinner organized by the renowned Italian maison Buccellati, founded in 1891 and now one of the world’s great symbols of luxury. Buccellati’s creations span a wide range of objects, all marked by meticulous care and the very best of Italian craftsmanship.
The event took place at the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum, a historic residence in Milan’s Montenapoleone district, to welcome important clients from Hong Kong. The theme of the evening was the color red. The table was, of course, set entirely with Buccellati pieces, and the museum closed its doors early to guarantee the privacy this small corporate event required, just a few steps from one of the most famous shopping streets in the world, Via Montenapoleone.
The planning was handled by Accaelle Events, and the dinner was prepared by the renowned three-Michelin-star restaurant Da Vittorio.
Photographing an event like this calls for a quiet, discreet presence: guests are there to enjoy an intimate evening, not to pose. My aim was to capture the atmosphere of the museum’s historic rooms, the details of the Buccellati table setting and the genuine moments of conversation between hosts and guests, while remaining almost invisible throughout the evening.
